So Many Updates!

Hello everybody!

Long time no talk! There has been a lot going on over here at Kelsey Senteio productions, but I am finally here to update you all on all of the great things that have been happening the past few months. To do that, we are going to have to go back to May and work our way to the present. So, let us begin!

In May, I got the opportunity to work with Break A Leg Productions on their spring video series. I have worked with them before and it is always a pleasant experience whenever I get to work with them again. The short I was in was called Hope Springs a Turtle. My cast mate, Valerie and I had such a great time filming, but Speedbump, the turtle, was truly the star of the show.

Next up, we have have Luz! Going into this short film, I was already excited. However, finding out I was working with Adwoa, who plays the lead in Ms/Manage, the web series I worked on at the beginning of this year, I was even more pumped than I was initially! Everyone in this cast and on the crew were so great. With an overnight shoot in a 24 hour diner, we all pulled together to make an amazing product. The little girls we worked with were also did such an amazing job on such a late shoot.

Two weeks later, we found out Ms/Manage is an official selection for the Bronzelens Film Festival! All of us were (and still are) so excited that our web series was chosen as an official selection. We worked so hard on the series, so having being chosen for our first festival and also reaching and exceeding our Seed and Spark campaign was the best news we could receive.

Finally, we have reach a few weeks ago. I was asked to participate in the New Haven, CT 48 Hour Film Festival. I have never done a 24 or 48 hour festival of any sort, but I have always been intrigued by them and wanted to give it a shot. I had so much fun! The environment was so positive and everyone on the crew worked incredibly hard to make a great product in only 48 hours. We went to the screening of all the films and I think I can speak for all of us and say, we were very proud of what we created.

So, that's it! Thank you for sticking around and catching up on all of the things that have been going on with me. I hope you continue to hang around and see what else I've got cooking!

~ Kelsey
