Let the fun BEGIN!
Hello everyone!
So as most of you know, I have 2 very exciting projects coming up.
The first is a workshop of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf by Ntozake Shange going up in just a few weeks. The second is a production of West Side Story going up in July.
We have already started rehearsals for For Colored Girls and I am already so ready to share this beautiful show with the world. The group of women I am working with is amazing and there is so much love and positivity in the rehearsal room that I sometimes wish others could be in the room with us to experience it. This show means so much to me and the women who are in it with me that this is going to be incredibly special when it goes up.
We start rehearsing for West Side Story in June, but until then choreography will be constantly on my mind. ALSO, we have started up work on A Very Girly Story again! I am so happy to be back in the room with my friends/fellow creators. We have some fun and interesting things on the horizon and we can't wait to share with you all again.
